Challenge
A Swedish organization in the public sector uses Azure B2C to expose the applications aimed at citizens. The organization wants to offer citizens to use a selection of e-identifications to ensure that all citizens can log in and at the same time maintain a high level of security. The organization wishes to expose the private e-identifications approved by DIGG at trust level 2-4.
Solution
With Fortified ID Integrity, different e-identifications can be used as an authentication method against Azure B2C. To ensure citizens' login, the DIGG-approved e-identifications are exposed via a guidance service:
BankID
Freja eID
AB Svenska Pass
eduID
When DIGG approves new e-identifications, it is a very simple administrative action to add the new e-identification to the referral service.
Cost-effective solution:
Requires minimal administration in the organization
Standardized integration
The graphical interface, in guidance service and login process, is fully customizable to be able to align with the organization's graphic profile.
Other
The integration between Azure B2C and Fortified ID Integrity takes place via a standardized OpenID Connect flow. The integration for each e-identification varies depending on the technical conditions of the e-identification:
BankID and Freja eID - REST
eduID and AB Svenska Pass - SAML2 bridge
